Neil Beckett | Medium-deep ruby, with a natural luster. A little drier in its oak, to smell, than the first wine of the flight (the Fourrier), but it is not dominant and should integrate, while underneath are very fine scents: authentic, enigmatic, and engaging, with light earth and floral intrigue as well as seductive kirsch notes. A very luxuriant feel on the palate, harmonious and sumptuous, with enough acidity to balance and an appetizing, beautifully judged phenolic bitterness, which works really well in this rich context. Effortless, graceful, and seamless, with a gratifyingly long finish. Already very lovely, and it should only get better from here. Fully worthy of this special site. | 95
