Matthew Hemming | Light caramel and candy tones. The mid-palate has energy, crunch, and power. Raspberry and strawberry scented. There's lots at the core and a mineral backbone holding it all together. In the glass it gains in purity and floral complexity. There's a sweetness and energy and notes of dried herbs. It's really taking off. The oak becomes toasty and supporting, so perhaps the early caramel notes are a reductive character that needs air? Spicy and svelte. | 95
