Neil Beckett | Medium-deep ruby, with a natural glow. The oak gives a whiff of caramel, but it does not mask the fine floral-mineral amalgam or the pure, reserved black fruit. A lovely entry onto the palate, flowing and supple; the depth is there, and the layers, but it's so silky that you don't initially see how layered it is; elegant and fresh, composed and harmonious, not the greatest intensity but proper grand cru structure and more still to show. | 95
