BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin | Dense, firm, concentrated, and compact. Still very youthful. Just a little fig and overripe with plenty of tannin and structure, cinnamon, tangerine, and blackberry flavors. Plenty of backbone and a focused, slightly chewy finish. | 93

Simon Field | Deep episcopal color; proud rim, gregarious nose of cream and compote; vanillin and raspberry; Botero structure, plush and plump. The palate is more serious: intimations of balsamic evolution; notes of stewed tea, eucalypt, and plums. The tannins are chalky yet tight, the alcohol and acidity still pairing up to each other. This will progress with distinction and over the medium term. | 93

Andrew Jefford | Dense, saturated black-purple, with a purple rim. Plump and sweet-fruited, with some exotic incense spice. A ready charm here. Soft, yet deep-fruited among its peers, with some shaping tannins and no overly obtrusive or raw oak. Mouth-filling and good. Ready now, but it has legs for half a decade. | 89
