Tim Atkin | Aromatic, floral, delicate, with tangy acidity, white-pepper top-notes, fine tannins, subtle reduction, and very well-integrated oak. Complex, still youthful; very well balanced and long. | 93
Simon Field | Plush, blue fruit, damson, figs, and a hint of strawberry; attractive, broad-brush, creamy texture, plenty of weight, Rioja warmth, and attractive yet precisely defined fruit. Approachable and engaging; the clasp of iron oxide and iodine tannins bodes well for a fascinating evolution... | 91
Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red, no longer opaque. Warm, enticing, and welcoming in ample, soft-focus style, with sweet fruits and sweet oak alike, nicely melded. Plump and ample. On the palate, the wine is fresh, lively, a little less sweet than the nose sketched out; soft-textured and rewarding, with ample depths and impressive harmony. A lovely glass of Rioja without quite shooting the lights out. | 92
