Andrew Jefford | Limpid pale gold in color. Pure, sappy fruits without a lot of overt fruit character, aromatically speaking. The fruits that are there are relatively cool and controlled—northern orchard fruits in a general sense. There is a little doughiness. A quietly attractive profile rather than a showy one; purity and classicism in evidence, and the wine will probably grow more aromatic with time. It has sweetness on the palate and that same controlled, almost chiseled finesse. It’s long, and it gives a lot more as it sits on the tongue. Low-alcohol and very fine, tapered, understated, finely engraved. | 93
Stephan Reinhardt | The yellow-golden color indicates a deep, rich, and intensely flavored Riesling, with remarkable substance and expression. Full-bodied and round, this is a really rich, not bone-dry, but elegant and mouth-filling Riesling, with a ripe, mineral acidity and structural phenolics. The finish is very intense, long, and complex, revealing a stimulating salinity. Impressive yet still young, this is a Riesling for the next two decades. 2021–45. | 94
Anthony Rose | Pale gold, this is expressively fragrant, with smoky and pineapple citrus. There’s a faint spritz, and the fruit is quite rich, full-bodied, and off-dry, underpinned by nice, fresh acidity and so managing, overall, a fair balance. | 90
