Andrew Jefford | Clear, bright steel-gold. A slight reductive residue, but ripe fruit aromas match up. Touch of funk. Weighty and full, with concentrated, long, deep flavors, hugely impressive, fruited force and great length and depth, but the aromatic funk bothers me a little. | 89
Stephan Reinhardt | Intensely yellow in color but pretty reductive on the deep and concentrated, spicy, flinty and stony nose. This is full-bodied, intense, and mouthfilling, but then closed and all too grippy, with salt but not much length except of power. This wine remains on the mid-palate yet isn’t free enough to flow and widen on the finish. Lost chance, possibly. 2024–35. | 88
Anthony Rose | With a golden glint in its lemony color, this is intriguingly scented, bringing elements of cardamom spice apple and stone fruit. There’s a light spritz on the tongue and nice energy in the texture and stone-fruit flavors that are supported by a textural ripe juiciness that turns from sweet fruit to a savory-salty dryness and tang on the finish. | 92
