Michel Bettane: Individual truffle-like nose, but also some cooked elements; velvety, strong, mineral tannin, good length, but how will it age? 16.5
Thierry Desseauve: Cassis and plum, overripe aromas, powerful but massive. To be tasted again. NS
Michael Schuster: Ripe, almost jammy nose; very full, very ripe, very oakily tannic; a mass of ripe fruit framed by a very dry oak tannin; good quality, good length, but you have to like this dry-edged style. It’s not for me. 2020–30+. 16+
