Michel Bettane: Big color, not very bright, spicy nose, tannin on the rustic side, but generous, good balance, not pretty, seriously made. 15

Thierry Desseauve: Young and deep color. Fine oak aromas with fresh red-fruit notes, ripeness, and good tannins; fresh finish, elegant and even brilliant definition, but not a complex wine. 15.5

Michael Schuster: Very ripe-fruited to smell; medium-full, juicy fruit, with a lively defining acidity, modest scope to taste, and a tannin that will need a few years yet; fairly brisk and with very nice length. 2017–22+. 14.5
