Michel Bettane: Big color, intense but inelegant nose, big body, heavy style, lots of tannins but not very refined ones; aging is necessary, but there is a lack of flair. 15.5

Thierry Desseauve: Cassis notes, ripeness with a certain lack of freshness. Generous finish. 14.5

Michael Schuster: Ripe and cedary to smell; a firm, oaky, tannin round a delicate Margaux flavor; structure a touch dominant? Good flavor in an oaky style, nice light length. Wish for a little less wood dryness. Will need a fair time to mellow those tannins. 2019–30. 15.5
