Michel Bettane: Browning color, rich, ripe, ready, not very complex for the moment. 15
Thierry Desseauve: Dark color, very elegant nose, with cashew and floral aromas, fine tannins, energetic finish. Drink now. 17
Michael Schuster: Very ripe, on the verge of raisiny, fruit on the nose; and this is mirrored on the taste, too, where there is a very dry oak tannin framing a faintly raisiny ripe fruit; the new-wood texture grips the palate and shortens/ pinches the wine. Overripe and overwooded: not for me. I doubt this will ever really harmonize. 14?
