BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Dense and sweetly, seductively ripe to smell; full-bodied, fresh in acidity, finely firm in tannin; a lovely sweet, pure, transparent core fruit here, subtle, complex, and aromatic, wearing its 15% ABV with remarkable ease. Long and complex and mouth-coatingly complete, with just a touch of alcohol warmth and severity to trammel its perfection, but with fine, sweet, fragrant persistence. Lovely wine. So attractively juicy that it will be attractive early, but its new- wood dryness implies a wait would be more worthwhile! 2027–45+. | 94
