Andrew Jefford | Dark, saturated black-red. Lots of pure fruits here: rich plum, damson and sloe as well as the classic blackcurrants. Bright, fresh, and alluring: a real sense of zest and energy. That’s absolutely what the palate delivers, too: a great draught of freshness and fruited purity. The urgency of St-Estèphe acidity is apparent but without any austerity, and there are supple carrying tannins. Very well-crafted and there is lots of pleasure to come. | 90
Michael Schuster | Very ripe in blackcurrant fruit to smell; full-bodied, fresh, finely but St-Estèphe firmly tannic; succulent and juicy to taste, with an attractive tannic grip, moderate complexity, and good length. Like the best lower ranked St-Estèphes, this is very satisfying. Lovely! 2024–36+. | 90+
