BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red, though not opaque. Articulate and warm, though lacking in aromatic finesse; still hugely attractive, but just a little cross-grained compared to the best of its peers. Deep, vivid, straightforward, and satisfying on the palate, and presumably attractively priced. There is no aromatic finesse to speak of but the quality of the soils can be tasted in the depth, texture and overall flavoriness of this wine. | 90

Michael Schuster | Firm, savory Cabernet Sauvignon to smell; medium-full wine, fresh and with a very firm tannin texture; sweetly ripe flavor of moderate complexity, defined by a chewy tannin, but with very nice fruit persistence. This will be a deliciously satisfying Croizet-Bages, given time. 2028–40+. | 90
