Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red. Less giving at this stage than many of its peers, but there are good things in here: fruit purity and length, some soft gingery spice, a sense of stone and warm earth. No meatiness, though, in contrast to some of its Pauillac peers. Attractive and complex already. On the palate, this is firm, full, ripe, mellow yet close-grained—and very satisfying. Unshowy, and flying under the radar, but quite possibly good value for a wine that will last well and always satisfy as it does so. | 91
Michael Schuster | Dense and cedary to smell; medium-full, freshly defined, finely firm in tannin; briskly fruity in flavor, of moderate complexity, and with good, light length. A fairly straightforward fruit plus clear Pauillac sinew, tasty wine, but needing rich fare to absorb its tannins at table. 2026–36+. | 90
