Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red with some purple at the rim. Elegant blackcurrant fruit on the nose, with a soft, milky ripeness to it: ample, quiet, sound appeal. Pure, cool, fresh, and appetizing on the palate, almost as it if was the Médoc equivalent of a health and vitality drink. Limpid and translucent; pristine. It doesn’t have huge depth or tenacity, but stylistically a very sincere and successful rendition of both the vintage and the place. | 90
Michael Schuster | Lightly oaky, lightly earth-tinged blackcurrant Cabernet nose; medium-full, fresh, moderately, finely tannic; light and lightly aromatic freshly ripe flavor, with a gentle complexity, a sweet and graceful flavor within a still slightly chewy tannin—especially in the 2016 context—and with good, light, aromatic persistence. Could drink with pleasure now, even better in a few years. Now to 2036+. | 91
