Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Earthy and four-square aromatic profile, with a breath or two of oak. Some raisin? Bright and amply fruity (though not particularly structured or tannic) on the palate, with both fresher curranty fruit notes and some sweeter dried fruit, too. Lots of fun, though it won’t make particularly old bones. | 85

Michael Schuster | Lightly plummy Merlot-based nose; light, fresh, fluid, with a very light tannin; freshly ripe, gently juicy, modestly flavored, but with nice length. Nice, easy-drinking, lighter lesser claret, modest scope of course, but none the worse for that! Now to 2024. | 87
