Andrew Jefford | Dark, deep black-red to deep scarlet at the rim. Warm, rich, earthy fruits, with an autumnal, almost smoky note: relaxed and satisfying. Some cream, too, over fine-drawn plum fruits. A little dry-fruited on the palate, with more tannin (and sustained acidity) than sweet flesh, but a complex and close-knit wine, too, which will provide a lot of drinking pleasure over the next decade or so. | 89
Michael Schuster | Sweet and finely oaky to smell; rich, tannic; sweetly ripe, fairly powerful wine of moderate complexity and good fruit-scented persistence. 2025–35+. | 90
