Neal Martin: Came across as very austere at first, much more malic than other Chassagne-Montrachets from the higher vineyards, detailed yet rather aloof. The palate is fresh on the entry with vibrant acidity, a touch of spiciness toward the second half and good vigor. This appears to open up, gain its voice during aeration, and I suspect that it will turn into a very fine Chassagne.
