Michael Schuster | A fine, subtle, blackcurrant Cabernet, cedar, and gravel Médoc nose; full-bodied, fairly concentrated, fresh in acidity, moderately tannic; rich and ample in flavor, a touch warm from its alcohol which also hardens the tannins slightly, but there is plenty of sappy St-Estèphe, gravel- infused Cabernet flavor here, gently St-Estèphe chewy, with nice length to taste, and a good length of aftertaste, too. Very nice Cru Bourgeois, complete and satisfying. 2025–25+.
