BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Densely blackcurrant Cabernet to smell; generous, fresh, concentrated wine, with a refined tannic frame; rich and fleshy to taste, blackcurrant-deep and ripe, but also beautifully contained and defined by its fine tannins, and with considerable complexity of aroma, long and satisfying and gently mouthfilling to taste and with a wonderful length of finish which mirrors both the blackcurrant fruit-core, and the subtle gravel aromas. A grand, classy Clerc Milon, the fourth really fine performance in a row, and probably the best yet. 2030–45+.
