Michael Schuster | Lightly gravelly to smell; full-bodied, moderately concentrated, fresh, with a firm but fine-enough tannin; a fairly juicy, crisply defined ripe blackcurrant fruit, lightly chewy and lightly oak-dry in tannin, of moderate complexity, slightly alcohol-warm, and with good, light length. Good, gently chewy, mid-rank Pauillac, good Croizet. Will drink relatively early. 2026–36+.
