Michael Schuster | Dense, rich, blackberry-ripe and mineral- infused nose, complex, alluring; rich, full, fresh, finely but firmly tannic; deep, sweet-cored wine, with the restraint and linearity typical of its St-Emilion plateau limestone origin; long, fine, and plateau-subtle, its richness notwithstanding; beautifully defined, long, and complex to taste, mouthfillingly aromatic, markedly mineral and sweetly fragrant on its prolonged aftertaste. A rich, complete, graceful wine, at a similar level to the lovely 2018. 2035–55+.
