Michael Schuster | Slightly woody to smell, but above all very ripe blackberry Merlot; full-bodied, fairly concentrated, fresh, firmly tannic; sweetly, superripe Merlot in flavor, a touch of alcohol warmth, but also a certain purity and transparency of flavor which makes for a classy overall impression; long and fine within its overall power, the alcohol hardening the tannins a touch, but with very nice sweetly fragrant persistence. Very nice in its supersweet, powerful way. 2030–50+.
