BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Dense and closed, but subtly and seductively fragrant on the nose; very rich, concentrated, powerful wine, fresh yes, but tannic and structured, an imposing constitution; deep and very sweet in flavor, complex and mouthcoating, a powerful presence, textured, subtle flavored, mouthcoatingly warm, clearly of fine quality, but also impossible not to notice its alcohol warmth alongside all its clear class and complexity, and with great, sweet-cored, slightly fiery length. Fine wine, of a very particular type, where you have to at least be aware of its “warmth.” Its alcohol-firmed texture will likely need plenty of time. 2035–50+.
