Michael Schuster | A fine nose of freshly but fully ripe fruit, with a clear, lightly gravelly background; medium full, with a nice concentration, supple yet fresh, finely tannic; very ripe in flavor, mineral-infused, with a nice density for the cru, long, even, and elegant across the palate, currently a bit marked by its new oak in texture, and with good length. If it absorbs its new wood, this should be delicious in 6 to 8 years. Good mid-rank Pomerol, with the extra matter and structure that has become more typical of the property recently. 2025–40+.
