Michael Schuster | Restrained, but opulent and complex to smell; rich, fresh, generous, finely tannic, a beautiful balance; deep, sweet, velvety plateau- Pomerol, long and svelte and flattering to taste, mouthcoating and full, but typically Hosanna- effortless and restrained at the same time; graceful, complete, complex wine, powerful yet not “strong” and with fine fruit-fragrant persistence. Will be a very gratifying Pomerol in 15 years. Probably just has the edge over its 2018? 2034–50+.
