Michael Schuster | Dense and with an abundance of ripe blackberry aromas; full-bodied, fresh in acidity, discreet and fine in tannin; classically elegant Pomerol proportions, a clear but not intrusive alcohol warmth, subtly gravelly behind a wealth of blackberry fruit, a nice length of flavor to taste, and excellent lightly spicy length to finish. Classy, elegant, harmonious, complete, and lovely Latour-à-Pomrol, which is likely to be accessible relatively early. 2026–40+.
