Bright, light, crisp, and zippy on the palate, and my anxieties about funk and cider are dropping away, but it is still relatively light and insubstantial alongside the best of its peers. Lush and elegant on the palate, with fine tannin from the oak and a ripe and elegant yet vital and fresh acidity, this is a pleasant Kamptal Veltliner with a lingering salinity and finesse.
