Andrew Jefford | Bright pale gold. Clean and fresh, with ample quiet fruit in abeyance; attractive without being show-stopping or head-turning. A super scent: deep, voluptuous, subtle, and intricate. Sumptuous and good, though quietly so. Rich, mouth-filling, fresh, and lively, with splendid ripe, tender acidity and deep, vivid lemon, peach, and almost saline grape flavors. Once again, the delicacy of this is very impressive from its latitude. Nothing overdrawn; all very subtle. Super vinification of fine raw materials here; an outstanding Italian white. Michael Palij | Lemon, lime, lime juice, sorbet, orange, toast—lots going on here. The palate is similarly rich, with plenty of fruit and layers of citrus and candied fruit. The balance here between the lees aging, acidity, and fruit is very finely judged. This is an excellent white at its best with seafood and pasta. | 89
