BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw, cloudy. Intense, closed, a touch rustic but generous and complex, with intense citrus-fruit character and clean aromatic herbs undertones. Complex, rich, citrus-fruit palate, with a long, salty finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Very pale, but with some suspended sediment (odd—normally suspended sediment goes with a much deeper color). Plump, neutral aromas; maybe a touch of cold pancetta. Concentrated and more of that fatty pancetta richness on the palate; no particular primary fruit. Very clean, no funk; and nicely managed, almost crisp-edged lemon- peach acidity. Interesting white wine! Once again: What’s the story here? | 91

Michael Palij | Cloudy, youthful, scented white, with rose, orange blossom, mineral, honey, yogurt, lemon, lime, spice, and hazelnut. Here the finish really romps home alongside the fruit with wonderful acidity and leads onto an expansive palate. Superb stuff. | 91
