BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Brilliant straw. Clean, high-toned, mineral nose, with green apples, lemon and lime peel, celery and fresh herbs. Elegant, clean, dry palate, with a long, citrus-fruit finish. A wine that should develop nicely in the next few years. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Steel-white; the palest of its cohort of six. Warm and sweet, with silky floral fruits: very attractive. White currant, lily, and rose. Slinky perfume, light and fine-fingered on the palate, too; another wine whose latitudinal origin almost beggars belief. Very fine aromatic engraving, like a silver hallmark all the way through this deftly curranty, graceful, petite yet pristine white. | 91

Michael Palij | Wow! A fabulous nose of mint, sage, lemon peel, elderflower, and honey. The palate is ripe and textured, but with an obvious lactic note that suggests excessive skin contact and lees aging. There just isn’t the complexity that the nose suggests. | 86
