BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Brilliant golden straw. Ripe, slightly medicinal nose, with citrus-fruit character, herbal, with lavender, sage, and bay leaf. Ripe, citrus-fruit palate, fairly long and clean. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Earthy, full, savory white, though fresh, too. All it lacks is a little focus and articulacy. Some spring-bulb freshness. Lively and structured on the palate, with ample rounded acidity; excellent and effective, juicy-fresh white, though once again without that focus and articulacy. | 88

Michael Palij | Curious nose, not entirely clean. Second bottle dramatically better, with notes of rum-and- raisin ice cream, guava, honey, apricot, almond, and toffee. The finish has good persistence and depth, with a mineral streak and intensity of fruit allied to natural acidity.| 88
