BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Brilliant pale straw. Open, clean, elegant, fruit-driven nose. Inviting, with some minerality and hints of fresh herbs. Lively, clean, citrus-fruit palate, and a good, clean finish. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Bright, green-silver. A more interesting aroma than for most of its peers, with some nutty pungency and purity. Excellent, classic Vermentino di Sardegna. Mouth-filling, poised, and full, with ample marrowy depths. Very classy stuff and a masterclass in what the style should be: delicate fruits, somewhere between grape and peach; lots of southern fat and glycerol; and creamy almondy depths, too—but all with ample shaping summer- fruit freshness. | 91

Michael Palij | Interesting nose, with waxy, toffee notes of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, lime, pear, and biscuit. The palate is slightly less impressive, with very firm acidity, and the fruit falls away to leave a short finish. | 85
