BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Brilliant straw. Intense herbal nose, open, with clean citrus fruit and hints of aromatic herbs. Mature palate, with sweet, yellow, citrus fruit, long, clean, mature, and balanced finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Very pale steel-gold, despite the extra age. Fresh and sappy in aroma: attractive, though the celebrated Fiano fragrance may be a feature of extreme youth. Good on the palate, with drive and some concentration, so enough for simple enjoyment. Once again, though, the fugitive aromatic charm is on the run. | 85

Michael Palij | Lovely nose, with ripe apple, pear, melon, honey, hazelnut, toffee, and ginger. On the palate, this is less generous than the nose would suggest, but it has layers of fruit and some depth. | 87
