Simon Field | An attractive nose, hints of reduction soon dissipated, dignified and discreet. Black fruit backed by herbal, almost peaty notes. Very fine natural acidity underwrites a fundamentally linear structure with blue and red fruit in support and a lifted, faintly minty resonance to the finish. The tannins are quite assertive but not overly intrusive. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Clear, limpid black-red. This wine is a little dry and raisiny, lacking freshness and lift. A touch of tar, too. And some herbaceousness (mixed ripeness?). This has some depth, but the style is rather raw and green overall, and it certainly doesn’t seem like a successful terroir reading of Garnacha. | 79

David Williams | Impressively concentrated red fruit that is nicely delineated and fresh-feeling. Just a hint of reduction and a touch of alcoholic heat creeping in. A tad one-dimensional. | 88
