BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Bright straw with golden highlights. Intense, complex, layered citrus-fruit character, with almonds, lemons, sage, and fresh-cut grass. Rich, layered, intense palate, with complex citrus fruit and a mineral finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Very full gold. Soft, rounded but relatively inarticulate scents; a vaguely sweet, custard-like appeal. On the palate, this is an exuberant and full-flavored wine with prominent acidity. There is plenty of juicy lemon mingling with the sweet apple and pear: exuberant and tasty. | 88

Michael Palij | Plump, honeyed, mineral notes on the nose, with ginger, peach kernel, apricot, dried honey, and citrus peel. This is a delicious white, with length, complexity, and the ability to stick it away for a few years. A great example of what this near- derelict DOC can produce. | 90
