Bruno Besa | Pale straw with green highlights. Restrained and slightly closed citrus-fruits nose, with intense minerality and a layered herbal character. Clean, complex, mineral palate, with a long, lemon-peel, white-fruits finish. | 91
Andrew Jefford | Very restrained in color: steel-silver. Sweet, soft, biscuity: vanilla, almond biscuits, a twist of dried orange peel. Attractive aromas. Pure, fresh, and intense, this impressive wine is concentrated, long, and complex, with ample central palate sap and vinosity and an almondy, crushed fennel finish. There’s a little of the aromatic citrus on the palate, too. An excellent Vernaccia and an indigenous white about which it would not be inappropriate to use the adjective “fine.” Tuscan to its core, too. | 91
Michael Palij | A simple but fresh and delicate nose, with dried honey, peach, honeysuckle, and an appealing leesy character. On the palate, the wine has brisk (and possibly added) acidity that provides focus. Decent length and its obvious drinkability mark this out as a crowd-pleaser. | 83
