BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with green highlights. Mature, quite aromatic, tropical nose of litchi and mango. A touch medicinal. Mature, slightly short palate. | 86

Andrew Jefford | Bright pale silver color. Rather weighty, oily aromas but not unattractive; haunting, vetiver-like. Pure, deep, lively, with that same softly perfumed, oily style. Characterful and typical—and provided you know what you are in for, rather good. Plenty of depth and concentration, yet poised, too. | 89

Michael Palij | Very interesting nose, with vegetal hints (pea pod, grass), white grapefruit, Anjou pear, and Turkish delight. Smells like a Sauvignon/ Gewurz cross! The palate is particularly intense for Trebbiano, with a concentrated and pleasantly secondary (butter, whey) character on the finish. An impressive white. | 90
