Bruno Besa | Golden yellow in color. A ripe yet refined, earthy nose, with dried nuts, cooked apples, and wet stones. Bone-dry, layered, intense yellow-fruit palate, with a rich, muscular finish. A classic Vernaccia. | 91
Andrew Jefford | A fuller gold than most. Leafy autumnal fruits and felted nuts; tiring just a little now. Weighty but rather heavy and estery on the palate. This is still drinkable with enjoyment, but I’d hurry along. | 85
Michael Palij | Complex aromas of toast, butter, cashew, and honey, with some obvious oak and tertiary character. Although the primary fruit is difficult to discern, this still shows some Braeburn apple and tinned peach as well. On the palate, this remains tight and concentrated, with fine acidity and spicy notes of toffee and vanilla. Impressive length. | 86
