BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Golden with amber highlights. Mature nose, with cooked apples, ripe apricots, dried nuts, and a rustic, almost animal, appeal. Round palate, with rich yellow fruits. It finishes clean and surprisingly lively. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Light gold. Heavy, rather tired aromas, alas; unenticing. Deep, rather chewy wine; earthy—but this would work well enough with food. | 87

Michael Palij | Curious nose, with herbal notes (sage, bay, cumin) and windfall apple. The palate is dull, and the fruit dies away. Possibly too mature. | 79
