BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | From the more pungent end of the Assyrtiko spectrum, orchard fruit, white plums and hints of elderflower. The alcohol stands out quite a little, gastronomic potential thereby signaled, a touch of sweetness on the finish reinforcing the sweet potential. | 88

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Faintly burned or smoky aromas, or so it seems. But might this be a tephra effect? It seems likely. There is also some fresh leafiness, adding up to an intriguing whole. Very concentrated but a little bit dry and tart on the palate; just a touch phenolic, edgy, and hard-pressed. Concentrated and high in quality nonetheless. | 89

Demetri Walters | Wow! Mouth-tingling freshness, but an altogether restrained and medium-weight rendition of the Assyrtiko theme. Lemon freshness, notable stony/earthy minerality, and considerable persistence. Taut, balanced, and really appetizing. | 95
