Simon Field | Pale and subtle, aromatics of green apples and distant smoke. Still and defiant in appearance, its almond and quince textures backed by grapefruit, tilleul, and lavender. In the mouth, somewhat amorphous, acidity woven with subtle panache; the palate building slowly, slowly, careless of the architect’s timetable; Brucknerian. | 86
Andrew Jefford | Pale to mid-gold. Clean and fresh, though aromatically rather neutral—indeed, a little bit awkward. On the palate, by contrast, it is very good: mouth-filling, fresh, faintly salty, without any volcanic soil notes but with what might be a limestone purity and finesse, and with a kind of marine freshness, too. Bright and pure, yet strong and deep. Once again, an admirable food wine, full of depth and character, dry, mouth- filling and long. | 91
Demetri Walters | A somewhat limey seam pervades this super-fresh wine. A compact, not overly ripe style. Nothing baroque here, but altogether saline, citrusy, and bright. Poised, linear, and markedly food-friendly. | 93
