Simon Field | A generous aromatic of rose petals and nectarine. The palate preserves the good mood, a hint of residual sugar backed by the natural exuberance of the varieties and complemented by hints of barley sugar and gingerbread. An agreeably different wine, far from challenging but more than a mere summer quaffer. | 86
Andrew Jefford | Bright mid-gold. Impressive aromas: lots of vivid fresh fruits, some of it exotic (passion fruit and mango). Sweet orange; a little basil, too. Very pretty and enticing. Head-turning, too. Lively, fresh, pure, and perfumed on the palate, with all the notes described above. Perhaps it’s a little bit “sensational” but a tour de force of aromatic preservation. Clean, neutral fruit beneath. | 86
Demetri Walters | Litchi, passion fruit, and lemon zest. Vivid and lovely. This continues on the palate, though the latter is altogether more lemony, saline, and linear. This makes for a charming yet serious wine, showing marked vividness of character and plenty of complexity. | 93
