Simon Field | Soft of color, with a gentle spritz and very attractive aromatic which inclines toward the tropical without compromising the Mediterranean palette. Mirabelle pear, nectarine and a soft sweetness. Balanced acidity a real sense of an ending. | 90
Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. I remember the haunting, compelling Thrapsathiri from my visit to Crete a couple of years ago, and here it is again: poised and sweet, with crystallized fruit charm; a note of angelica; and ample freshness. As so often in this tasting, what smells like a delicate and fugitive wine proves to be quite structured and masterful when you get it into the mouth. Look out for the note of dried thyme in addition to all of the other aromatic interest. | 88
Demetri Walters | Leesy, cheesy, and slightly cidery. A little volatile, though saved by interesting textural breadth and notable extract and breadth. Perhaps lacking sufficient freshness to take it to the next level of complexity and drinkability? | 80
