BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | A light spritz and a rather lean mid-palate presence, both slightly undermining the attractive fruit character, the latter based on peach and poached pears. The metallic finish once again challenges the integrity of the ensemble. | 83

Andrew Jefford | Pale bright gold. This is a little less alluring than some of its peers: a touch burned, weighty, and must-like. Better than that on the palate, though. This is firm, lean, long, and spear-like, with ample chew and density. The aromatics do improve somewhat in the glass. | 86

Demetri Walters | Quite herbal and sappy on both the nose and the palate. Relatively neutral on the palate, showing a little ripe apple, but otherwise it’s all about the shape and freshness of the wine. Very drinkable and perfect with all manner of dishes, both land and sea. | 88
