BUY THE WINE

Simon Field | Pale and modest of appearance. The nose sings of youthful red apple and hints of spiced pear, white pepper beneath. The palate is reticent, simple stone-fruit elegance, without big bones. A soft sonata, gently poetic and decidedly feminine. | 87

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Clean, fresh lime in soft style; rather simple. A clean dry white, but lacks precision and personality, though it is vinous, has some length, would be good with food, and is perfectly correct in a technical sense. | 84

Demetri Walters | Lemon and apple compete here. Some salinity and seashell character. Note terribly complex, but clean, fresh, and quite characterful. Pleasant and quaffable. Notably food-friendly. | 85
