Neil Beckett | A northeast-facing site, which can struggle to ripen in cooler years but can shine in warmer ones such as 2018. Deep ruby, a natural luster. Ripe red and black fruit on the nose, lightly spicy. Brilliant focus and intensity on the palate, but beautifully enrobed, with a gorgeous refinement of texture. Great potential; should be superb in 6 or 7 years, and for at least as long thereafter. | 93
