Stephen Brook | Deep red. The super-ripe nose has boiled-sweets aromas and is almost candied. The attack is soft and fleshy, but there are ample ripe tannins below the surface, and the palate has no rough edges. Although the finish is firm, overall this does lack a little punch and drive. | 92
