Michael Schuster | Deep purple, noticeably dark for the house; a hint of oxidation here too; rich, fresh to vital, fairly firm in its fine tannin; warm, ripe, plenty of rich black-fruit sweetness, long to taste, a touch monolithic at the moment, but the matter, juice, sap, and length are there, both across the palate and on the finish. A little touched in performance by its oxidation, so difficult to judge fully on the basis of this sample. 2025–40+. | 93+
